He didn’t allow a fair trail in 1995 and the public wasn’t going to allow one this time.  Five of the 12 jurors admitted to disagreeing with the 95 acquittal.  CNN reported the stats.  11 of the jurors were white and one was Hispanic, and all but one had heard of his murder charge.  Seven were married and blah blah blah.  Society has been waiting 13 long years for OJ to slip up.  We thought he finally did it with that stupid book of his, but no, we weren’t allowed to read it.  And then a gift from the heavens falls upon society and OJ commits a crime.Â

Regardless of the crime, Simpson would be going to jail for a long time.  If he stumbled upon a robbery at a 7-11 he would have gotten attached to that crime in some way.  It may have seemed like all the chips were against him the first time, but this was the truly unfair trail.  In a perfect world of justice, Simpson would have been convicted of the first crime and gotten off or given a slap on the wrist for his Vegas stunt.  But we don’t live in a perfect world, we live in a human world, and justice is justice in any shape or form.
