Tucked in the rear of the Lawson Fenning furniture shop and across the street from M&A in Silverlake, Ivanhoe serves the local creative community with a collection of new and vintage books on art and design. In the sunny space, tomes are stacked on shelves and tables. Ivanhoe specifically has a large inventory of architecture, interior design and decorating books, and is heavy in the mid-century modern category. There are also art books and quarterlies, as well as special vintage photography monographs from such luminaries as Edward Weston, Deborah Turbeville and Annie Leibovitz.
